managed to lay hands on one khukuris
its really not bad, its a 14". so heres a pic
quite impressive but grind and hammer marks can be seen. Uncle Bill hope u dun mind mine post.

That looks like a typical Newari design to me. Most of these are very poor quality (poor steel and little or no hardening) but if you get lucky you can find one that is of excellent quality.
