This is from my first batch of 10V that I heat treated myself. I was going for a 63 Rc, I got a reading of 62 on the tang so I think the edge made it to a full 63.

Specs:
.145 CPM 10V
9.813" OAL
5.25" blade
1.5" wide
Ht by maker in digitally controlled Evenheat kiln to 62-63 Rc
Nice, fluid distal taper
FFG to a very fine blended convex edge, incredibly sharp, will be an amazing slicer
Black and toxic green G10 handles with black G10 liners
Aluminum pins and tube
Buyers choice on black kydex or leather sheath. Allow 2 days for sheath making from "I'll take it."

Asking $SOLD
First "I'll take it," gets it.

Price includes shipping via USPS Priority mail with delivery confirmation to all 50 states. Others can contact for actual shipping charges.

That's the second piece of yours in under a week that's stirred lust in my heart. When I finally get out from under these bills I think I may have to send you an email.

What steels can 10V be compared with? Feels like every week I read about another CPM steel I haven't seen previously :D That looks to be one wicked slicer!

10V really can't be compared to any other steel. It is in the A11 category which includes A11, 10V, and K294. It has the highest wear resistance and edge holding of most any knife steel curently in use. The edge holding is greater than S90V, M390, M4, and ZDP 189, just to name a few. This knife was ground to .010" before sharpening and then sharpened to a very fine blended convex edge. In short, yes it will be an amazing slicer.
