This is one of my new designs that I call the "Rhino". I've had a lot of requests for a stout, yet reasonably sized blade and I think the Rhino fits the bill. The Rhino would make a nice EDC blade or a good addition to a BOB or EDC bag; especially if you are a fan of overbuilt blades.
The blade is made from A2 steel. I performed all heat treat and tempering operations. The blade is tempered to 60 HRC for excellent edge holding characteristics. The blade features a two tone satin finish for added contrast.
The handle is constructed from toxic green G10, and is textured by hand. This texture allows for an amazing grip, even when wet. The handle is attached to the blade via 4 Allen screws and epoxy. The epoxy is not needed, but ensures that moisture does not develop under the scales.
The knife is ground with a high double hollow grind and features a lengthy swedge along the spine. Don't be fooled by the overall thickness of the blade; the Rhino is quite a cutter with great edge geometry!
‎- A2 Steel
- 60 HRC
- 1/4 Stock
- High double hollow grind
- Two tone satin finish
- Toxic green textured G10
- Skeletonized tang
- Dramatic Swedge Along Spine For Increased Penetration

- Kydex sheath

Thanks for looking!
