I hate buying blind like that... especially my first Rat...
But I got the Ratweiller on Monday, and have no regrets at all!! After a couple hours with some 220 grit wet-or-dry and a half-round file, it's looking pretty sweet, has a wicked convex edge, and a handle that fits like it was custom-made. I was gonna work up to a mirror polish on the blade, but for a user, I think this "heavy satin" finish I've got now will do just fine. :thumbup:
BTW, the sheath is pretty nice. Who made it?
