Out of all of the fantastic work Trace has turned out over the years, there have been four or five pieces that, in my mind, really have stood out above the rest. This is one of those pieces. I have had the rare pleasure of handling this piece and it is flawless in almost everyway. From design, to materials to execution this knife is the top dog!

Add a great cause to a great knife and you have to bid high!

Wish I could get this one myself, but I could barely afford to cover the cost of materials.

Hey Trace!

Remember that we took and incorporated some of the Leo design characteristics (actually the twin fingergrip cutouts) in your first Chimera (your first Talonite blade).

You and Rob were both great to me during those days of Talonite experimentation :)
This particular sample of your work being auctioned is extraordinary; plus Christine and Megan will benefit ;)

Lets go $850.

The bid closure time of 5pm EST is a big disadvantage to those of us further west as many of us can't access sites like this from work :(

Yowser! Weeeeeeeeeee!!! hehehehehehee

Yeah I'm shocked, surprised, overwhelmed, and honored to win this piece.

Ida... e-mail sent :)

Al.... thanks for letting me know that I'd won with your call to my office.

Trace... man as always great to talk to you. I very much appreciate the sentiments you expressed too. And I'll definately call you after I get this puppy in hand:)

Terrill... gotta find your e-mail addy as I'd like to get a large jpg of your photo.

Christine / Megan.... if you ladies read this know how pleased I am to be able to successfully participate in this event in Rob's honor and to benefit you both.

I'm smoking a Partagas Limited Reserve cigar and sipping some special old Jameson's to celebrate. Sorry Rob, no Guiness in the house but I know you enjoyed a good scotch or irish whiskey too so....

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew man oh man!!!!
