Bought a TTKK a while back, and while I really liked the knife I decided to reprofile the edge with a 15/20 double bevel. Worked great (except for two days of slogging away at a thick chunk of D2 ;)), but I rounded the point somewhat in the process.

Anyway, I e-mailed Trace to see what he would charge me to regrind the tip.

Turns out, nothing but shipping. He not only reground the tip to a nice point, he touched up -- and evened up -- the whole edge with the 15/20 grind, removed the scratches I'd put on it, filled in a small spot in the carbon fiber scales I hadn't even noticed was there and buffed the edges of the sheath to remove some rough spots (hadn't really noticed those, either). Turnaround time was about a week and a half.

Just f'ing amazing. Great guy to deal with. Buy something from him.

Trace Rinaldi makes a great knife, and the personal service that he provides is equal in quality to his knives.
