I've got a supposedly beater Spyderco Starmate from him, and actually asked him to delay the payment.
He shipped the Starmate from Argentina through register mail to Canda, and it came here in record time, much faster than I expected. The knife was definately secure in a pouch and frankly too many tape to make sure it wouldn't move around inside the box.
When I got the Starmate, It wasn't a "beater" Starmate that I expected, it was LNIB Starmate. It has a slight scratch on the logo on the G10 (which I would've done when I carry it), and a little damage on the tip that was fixed easily with the fine stones from the 204. The knife it definatly great, and calling it a beater is definately an underestimate.
I've finally got around to pay him after the time has gone for the Visa company to bill me on Jan 1, and everything have pretty much gone through it.
He's definately a great guy.
