Purchased tracker 2 I have to say this is the first purpose designed knife
I've ever owned.I look forward to hearing from other tracker and
tracker 2 owners

Does the maker have a website? I Googled the knife and it is interesting, but would like to read about the the design features on the makers site, but can not find it. Thanks...

Found it: TOPS Knives

I'd like to hear more too. Have you had the chance to use it yet? I'm wondering myself how practical that design is. I have heard mixed reviews.

I'll post pics this weekend.I've used it a little on a walking stick, hacking
the branches and as a draw knife:thumbup:.It came sharp not scary then.....I
made it scary sharp.:D

On a side note i'm thinking about re profiling the main blade

I think to correctly evaluate this particular knife you need to test it against
similar sized knives.realistic situations not hacking 2x4 in your backyard.
even though I've done that already and yes the tracker excelled over all
of them the grohmann a close second.funny note i whipped out my bm rukus
and kept on par with the tracker for hacking:D
bm nimravas $135.00
sog seal pup $65.00
mora $15.00
grohman #4 $100.00
tracker 2 $300.00

PS any ideas you want me to try just ask so far with just the short time I've
used it I've fell in love with it.yes my beloved grohman doesn't sit on my
belt right now:eek:.at first i didn't like the way the kydex sheath went on two
wide spring clips.but after a couple of days I don't notice it.I live in a rural
community packin guns and knive are a way of life.

that tom brown tracker looks like that yom brain tracker that we found on ebay before even the lettering looks the same

I had one of the larger sized Trackers, sold it on ebay. it was ok...I batoned with it, used the saw, built a bow drill, just puttered around outdoors a lot with it. It was a pain to sharpen and never took a really sharp edge. And very heavy! Not bad just not for me.

I like the smaller Tracker II better than the full size tracker. I did not like the balance and feel of the large tracker. The II looks like it would make a nice utility knife choice. Keep us posted about your impressions and how you used it.

Took out the Tracker 2 for some fire starting 101 with my 10 year old son
it was snowing, cold everything was wet it took him like 2 hours to get
flame so he could heat up his lunch.it was great the look on his face
was priceless:D.The Tracker 2 hacked and split great but trying to get wood
chips leaved a lot to be desired.thank god for my BM Rukus.his knife is cs
Canadian belt knife, man that is a great knife for the money,my wife has the finn bear, she loves it.
