Tracker's Forge Bright Finish Long Hunter

Hi,

This is my Bright Finish Long Hunter.

I Hand-Forged it from a file. It has a file worked tapered tang, a fleur-de-lis rasp bolster secured with peened over brass pins and a hand poured pewter fleur-de-lis buttcap, walnut scales featuring brass etching plates all secured with copper pins.

Hi Bob,

I really like both the Virginia long knife and the bright forged version as well. There's somehing about the simplicity of the Va. long knife though, that is very appealing. Both look great. By the way, what period does the long knife represent?
