The Glorified Long Hunter is 13 inches overall, with a blade that is 8 1/4 inches long.

The Glorified Long Hunter is 3/16th inch stock 1095 High Carbon Steel Blade, which has been Fully Flat Ground Blade and which I finished with a Darkened Patina Finish.

The Tapered Tang is complimented by Fiddleback Maple, Handmade High Dome Washers secured with Copper Pins, a Rasp Bolster secured with Copper Pins and a Hand-Forged Finger Guard.

As you can see, there is a great deal of hand work in a knife like this.

$500 w/o sheath, sheath available upon request.

Thank you for taking a look, and feel free to post any comments.

Great knife Bob, love the filework and love the powder measure off to the side. Did you make the measure too?

Regards

Robin

Pipeman - Good Eye. Yes I did made that pan charger.

And thank you for your compliments about my work.

Do you make pipes?

Thank you,
Bob

"a great deal of hand work" -- to put it mildly :)

Very nice hand work too. I really like the package.

Hi Bob
I make "peace" Pipes, and powder measures and Horns and sheaths and the odd Trade type knife and a zillion other things.

Regards

Robin

Come you collectors. Have you ever seen one like this ? I have seen Bobs knives at the yearly hammer-in (he teaches) and gun show. Has his own unique style, no question about it. Great fit and finish . I can't believe some high $ collector hasn't grabbed this. Just my 2 cents worth
