Howdy,
I don't know why I called this knife the Spike Elk.... : ) While this is a high carbon rail spike, it is not equivalent to tool steel, I brine and case hardened this knife, though it probably won't win a rope cutting contest. But, it will skin a deer and do camp chores, though you may have to touch it up more often than my regular knives.
Hand Forged 5 and a half inch blade, with a 5 inch handle. I twisted the spike before I handled it, you can see this on the spine.
$160 w/o sheath.
