Trackrock bound

Sorry I missed ya Jerry! I was also watching for your face to pull in on Saturday.

Maybe next time we can ride up together.

Gus, if momma doesn't decide she wants to make that a family weekend outing with four screaming kids, I'd like that. If she does, I'm pretty sure your pain threshold is below what you might be called on to experience. I wish I'd had a chance to visit with you this weekend. I did the soccer mom thing on saturday, so just wasn't able to make it up sooner.

Hey, when ya keep mom happy, it is amazing how other things just fall into place :D.

Knife folks are the best folks around. As a fairly new forger, I learned more in 4 days than I have in the past 9 months. The side trip Carl, Mark ,Sandy and I took was awsome. Chuck Patrick Forged out a little friction folder blade (I'd been Trying to get the hang of For a while), When he got finished he handed it to me and said " you finish it"; Man what a treat. I thought I was going to have to scrap with Carl and Mark to keep it:D Anyway, I'll post a pic. of the finished product later this week. We all could not have had a better time. jc

I had planned on going and wanted to go really bad but ended up having to work. Man that hurt. Glad you all had such a good time. Perhaps next time I will make it out.

Hi all,
I had a great time. Crex was his usual happy self and I got to meet Gouge for the first time. The variety of forges there was amazing. Got some great ideas for the next one I build.
Pat showed off her fancy copper and PFF laid out a great display of custom knives. Sandy is a human dynamo and knows as much about motorcycles as he does leather. If I am half as active at 81 as he is, I will be able to make 3 knives a week and do the polka. Be sure to ask him about his love for horses.
The weather couldn't have been better and neither could the food and company. Much sewer rod went to a better place. Bought my first Scagel style knife and an Iris too boot.
The camp site is so nice we will be coming back this winter to visit the snow. Can't wait for the next one, Ken

Boy! Guy can't get a word in edgewise around here!!!!
Yeah what they (all) said. Finally finished unpacking, who put all those rocks in my duffle?
All you guys were great. Chuck, man, what am I gonna do with you?
To quiet around here, no yelling over the roar of a bunch of dragons and anvil smite-ing.
Mark N. - although we haven't met, I made everyone wait on you to get there........like pigs in a trough! Sorry you couldn't make it. I'm just up the road. Grab Evgeny and Gus and some cold ones and come on up.
Kit- it was a pleaure to meet and talk with you. Mighty glad you came.

Hey! Looky there, I can make a fist again! Man you guys kept me a brother Mark hopping. Not to leave out the Rib-Master, brother John, we'll have to turbo that grill next time.

Most of the rest of you have email, or will. Just ain't enough hours!
CRex
