Trackrock Spring Event

Whit...I am not going to make it. Missing it by a wek, we will be visiting the in laws in Dillard, GA a week after that. Bad Luck. Maybe next year.

Weather Channel and local weather says 2" snow tonight and Friday morning. Not a bunch compared to other places, but the stretch over the mountain from my house could get rough. I'm headin' to Track Rock this afternoon and get set up. Let it snow , let it snow etc.

Carl: I bought a beautiful knife of your's this summer just after I returned from Iraq while visiting in Alabama at a gun show in Dothan. I purchased it from Chris & Terie Williams (CT Cutlery) after looking over every custom knife at the show. This one has a large mule deer antler tip as a handle. It has become my carry knife of choice for muzzloader hunting. The sheath is as beautiful as the knife. I have been trying to find out how to contact you for information on purchasing other knives you are creating. Do you have any kind of literature like a catalog, or flyer?

Thank you for any information!

John
Thank you for the kind words and compliments. Chris and Terri are good friends of mine and allow me to display & sell my knives through their store.
I'm glad you like my work. I do a wide variety of blades but have been told that my style is a bit different from the usual stuff (that just me).
I am President of the Georgia Custom Knifemakers' Guild and have a gallery on our web site at www.georgiaknifemakersguild.com

This is rather short notice for you, however if you'd like to see some of my most recent work and don't mind the drive, we are holding the Fall Trackrock Hammer-in Event this weekend. You are welcome to join us for the day or the weekend. Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th are the two main days.
There is a formal announcment on the Guild website (above) and over on the Guild Forum in the Knife Network Forums. Directions to the campgrounds can be found at www.trackrock.com (located just outside of Blairsville, GA).

Carl: Thank you for the information! I won't be able to make it down this weekend as I have responsibilities on the 29th. I wish I could. It sounds like something that would be a real learning experience. I will watch for it next year, and plan on it!
