Tracks Hand Crafted Three Piece Jointed Walking Staffs

Here are two of the original Tracks Incorporated three piece "Mountain Guide" staffs. These were made in 1985 and have been in storage since that time. I purchased these from the woman who worked for the original owner of the company and as I understand it, these were essentially handmade, one at a time. These are both 52 inches long, and each will come in its own nylon carrying case. One of the nylon straps still has the original hanger tag on it.

The walnut knob unscrews to reveal a camera mount. The foam is in perfect condition and I believe these are powder coated. Beneath each rubber tip is a spike. Each one has a nylon wrist strap. The only maintenance I have done is to clean and lubricate the threads.

These went for about $90 apiece back in 1985.

These would be great for those occasional times you need a walking staff, and they easily break down to stow away in your pack. As near as I can tell on my home postal scale, they weigh about 13 ounces each.
