These were made in 1985 and have been in storage since that time. I purchased these from the woman who worked for the original owner of the company and as I understand it, these were essentially handmade, one at a time. This one is 52 inches long and it sports a bright red finish.
It still has the original hanger tag, as well as the adhesive tag on the shaft.
The walnut knob unscrews to reveal a camera mount. There are couple of tiny marks on the knob, but I think they are inconsequential, as I cannot catch my fingernail on them, so I think they are just a bit of a mar on the oil finish, and if you are concerned, they could be easily touched up.
The foam is in perfect condition and I believe these are powder coated. Unscrew the rubber tip and you will find a one-inch spike. It has a nylon wrist strap, and the only maintenance I have done is to clean and lubricate the threads.
These went for about $80-90 apiece back in 1985.
The weight on this one is about 12.5 ounces. It was stored in a plastic bag and then in a cardboard tube, there are some very tiny rub marks in the finish and I have made no effort to try to polish them out, but none of them seem to have compromised the painted finish.
Price is SOLD
Thank you.
