Trad edc rotation

Like Sunnyd I tend to carry the same combo for a a couple of weeks to a couple of months. Right now I'm carrying a yellow Case mini-trapper and a black Victorinox huntsman.
Before that it was a Case sodbuster jr. and a Wenger highlander. I always have a swiss army knife along with some other pocket knife. This sort of combo works well for me.

I've got a little drawer with a hand full of knives which I call my rotation, but if I leave the house without my Case Copperlock wharncliff CV in my back right pocket and my VIC manager in my front right I feel like I am not prepared for the day. I have gone to work without my cell phone (I'm in sales) but turned around to go back an get my knives.

For about a month now all I've carried is my Old Timer middleman jack in pocket, and a Leatherman Squirt P4 or Micra in my jacket pocket (have yet to use it in all this time, but I feel better with a screwdriver or two on me, plus a civilized means of opening delicious, nutritious beer).

A Camillus Roughcut Stockman in the right front pocket and a yellow Schrade-Walden trapper in the right back pocket has be come the norm. But since the holiday season is about to begin figured I go with a green jigged bone Boker copperhead and a red jigged bone Schrade-Walden trapper.

Recently it's been

Queen CSB Slimline Trapper

CASE Amber Bone Med Stockman

Schrade 3OT lockback

A CASE Peanut always lurks as spare

Bark River Mini Northstar as a non folder/fixed/sheath

As far as my slipjoint carry goes, I generally rotate between a few regulars in my bunch.
Case chestnut bone CV trapper
Queen City carbon mini-trapper, in red wormgroove bone, made by Cozy Glen
Queen D2 single-blade copperhead in ACSB (seems to have bumped my Queen CSB D2 canoe farther down the list....)
Otter-Messer carbon steel sailor's rope knife (the one with the anchor-shaped shield :D )

Blacktical-tacticals rarely see any pocket time (perhaps I'll sell them off...), and sheath-knives usually just come with me to the woods.

Trad:

Case amber bone CV Trapper or
Case Mini Copperlock--not sure what they call the scales---brown jigged bone

In addition:
BM 520 and one of the following

Vic Farmer
Vic Cadet
Vic Pioneer

Over the past week or so:
  • Customized single blade Case Copperhead w/Wharncliffe, amboyna burl scales & figured bolsters.
  • Vic Classic SD, red alox
  • Vic Soldier, silver alox
  • Case Wharncliffe Copperlock, CV, yellow
  • S&M Premier #7 (?) English Jack
  • Spyderco Delica 4, VG-10, FRN
Later this week I expect a Case Mid-Folding Hunter in CV and amber bone will join the mix.
