rought iron with a piece of 1060 high carbon steel for the cutting bit..The head has been etched to show the wroughts texture.
You can also see the cutting bit standing out from the etch..The cutting edge is 3 1/4" wide and the head is 5 1/4" long.
The haft is nice curly ash. Stained with aqua fortis, rubbed with boiled linseed oil and finished with wax
