Here it is, this knife has an interestng history. It is a much more pointed SH than my others. It is also much thicker. It is also the one talked about n the following websites. It was used and then sent to Busse to verify that it was INFI. Busse Verified that it was indeed INFI and refurbished the knife with a new finish, resharpening and hollow rivets to replace the original slotted bolts. The knife was then stored and sold to someone else before coming to me. I am not interested in selling it, but I will consider other serious Busse hardware only. You know what I like, and that is what it will take.

Well, I have not measured it, but we both know that the chances of an older INFI Busse being a true 5/16 is unlikely. The thickest that they got was in the 0.28 to 0.29 range so I would expect this one to be there. It definitely is 5/16 stock, but I am sure that it was never mic'd. When I get a chance I will measure it, but I'd bet it's a 0.28 incher or so.

As for trades, here is specifically what I want. Mint or refurbed SHBM. Plain and simple. I really love this SHSH and will not part with it for anything else, not even a HOGFSHLE or SFNO as much as I like both of those. It is the nicest shaped SHSH I have ever seen. I have other SHSH's including another fatty, but the shape of this one is much better. The point is much pointier than the others if that makes sense. Thus the reason for my trade want. Sorry guys. My needs is simple. :D A piece of history and a fatty INFI to boot for what I want.

Guess that leaves me out as I only have a 1/300 SHBM and it's not for sale/trade. :p

I think there are a few true 5/16th" or .3125 SHSH INFI out there.

I currently own one True .3125" Straight Badger and have sold at least three.

I kept the one that was a variant.

There are also .300 over the coating, .287 and 270/1000, each having it's own special place as Busse "Fatty" Steel Hearts.

Which one is this?
