Howdy,
I would like to trade my Hogue Deka with a Wharncliffe blade in Magnacut for another Magnacut Deka with a drop point blade.
I purchased my Deka directly from a dealer in December and have carried/used it almost daily since then. It has been used for general cutting tasks, sliced up boxes and been used as an impromptu paring knife in the kitchen - it has been used but certainly not abused. I lightly touched up the edge a couple times with fine diamond plates, ceramic rods and a strop. I tried to RIT dye the scales once but it did not make any discernible change.
This is a great knife in perfect working condition, but I have come to the realization (again) that I generally prefer a drop point to a wharncliffe for general use.
To summarize:
I am looking for a used, but not abused, Hogue Deka in Magnacut with a drop point blade.
In exchange, you will receive a used, but not abused, Hogue Deka in Magnacut with a wharncliffe blade and the original blue polymer scales.
You will not receive the aftermarket OG scales pictured below (I'm too lazy to swap the scales back until a trade is agreed upon).
If you're interested in a trade but have little/no feedback I may ask that you ship first, but we can discuss as needed.
