Trade Esee 5 for 2021 limited edition 124

I get it.
I've got an Esee wish list of my own.

The 124 is a great knife.
I wouldn't think the Ebony handled one would be a user for most folks.
More power to you if you decide to tho....

I think the 5160 124 would be an awesome user as well.
And mine sits unused in the display case.....

😉
Great! Just Great! Now I have to go looking for a 124 in 5160 steel.:D

Even with the limited availability of the 124, I feel as if I should get a 119 first. It's a crawl, walk, run kind of deal.

Thanks. It was my idea, @Makael made it happen. He is an artist for sure.

I just wanted it stitched together he finished the edges and brought it to another level.

Did he disassemble the 124 sheath to stitch the 110 sheath to the front, then restitch the 124 sheath?

well i got that 124 limited edition and would you guess that the same day a dude offered to swap me an Esee 5 for my spare Mora Garberg because he collects Garbergs so now I have both. Here is my question, the 124, i should use it even though it's a special edition? i kean what good is it if i dont use it?

Are you a knife user, or a knife collector? If a user, use it. If a collector, put it in a display case and display it. There is no wrong answer. It's your choice.

O.B.

That is a personal decision. For me it would come down to what makes it limited? Something ornate? Or something functional? That 124 was meant to be used, since you don’t have another, I vote use it I doubt you’ll hurt it any

This 212 is one of 13 made. I added a sharpening choil, thumb notches, jb weld were the blade meets the guard. Then used it to eat corned beef and cabage for a week. No regrets.

I bought my 124’s used then used them more and they all look new still.
