I had a Green River trade knife in mind when I forged this. It's not historically correct but you get the idea.
Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with a forced patina and forged texture on the flats
Stabilized maple handle
Overall length: 9 1/4 inches
Blade: 5 inches
Oiled leather scabbard with a rawhide (natures Kydex) liner. This style was worn under a belt or sash.
