Trade Knife

Hey Will, I tell him that constantly, but I think he thinks it's a good thing!!:D

Seriously, I got to handle this one yesterday and it really does just float in the hand. Pretty much the tangible definition of what a knife shoud be.
Not bad at all for an old Portagee biker:D

Well I'm figuring if I'm the "Japanese Redneck" he can be the Ole Portagee Biker. I'd say scooter trash but I don't want to insult the fine men and women that comprise that sector of society :p

Really nice George!!! Osage is my favorite wood. There are several dead down trees down the road so I cut whatever I need. Polishes nice. That would make an awesome bushcraft knife.

Hey Will & Nathan,

Lets show some respect to our elders, it's "Mr. very old ugly Portagee Biker".

Yes, you forgot to add "Ugly", very important dimension when speaking of IG.

Ain't that right Wa..Wa..Wally. :D

That's seriously sweet IG! I like that osage handle too, and the fileworked spine (I'd like to see the filework on either of these knives). Looks like a great carrying knife. What are you going to do for a sheath? Keep the knives coming IG, it's good to see your work again.

Now Guys!!!! BBBB Beaver is a Lil Grease ball French AMF Biker. He gets greasy, because his scoot leaks oil(Badly). Every time he fixes it, it leaks worst. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!
He wants to help me get my HD running. I am afraid that he will screw something up as he usually does when he comes over here.

Will, being a Redneck you must have a Confederate flag in your truck's back window???:confused: But' since you a a Jap-A-Neck you must have the Rising Sun Flag in its place. HEHEHEHEHE!!!!!

No I have an American flag and a disabled veteran's vehicle tag on the back of the ole Chevy. I did have a decal that was pretty funny, it was a buck mounting a doe and the doe had a bag on it's head and it said "Closing Time at the Hunting Club" wifey didn't like it so it had to go :(

I prefer the term "Yellowneck" :)

Nice one buddy. I thought you wanted to "trade" this one. HA! I'll trade ya for a swift kick in the pants...What'ya say? Is it a deal?

Actually I want to come over and watch you get yer old Indian running while I'm drinking beer with Toecutter and having a good laugh at your expense :D

But besides that, yer trade knife feels very awesome in the hand. Now, did I miss that knife and sheath in the "For Sale" section. :jerkit: Or do you still have to finish making a sheath? :D

BBBB Beaver, you couldn't even try to get my Indian started.:confused: Your legs are way to short.:eek: All three of them. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!

Looks good IG! I Agree about the Osage, looks super on that one. I need to ween myself off of dark handle materials....

How do you finish Osage?

I stabilized it in Mini-Wax Wood Hardener and B72. I went up to 800 grit, buff and wax. I stabilize all my wood, bones, horns and etc. myself.
I did up a Springbok last week, it is going on the collaboration knife that Bruce Bump and I are doing.
I filled the horn with resin and put it into a 2 quart Mason jar, then I pulled a vacuum. The horn looked like it was sweating. I buffed out a small section and it looks like glass.;)
