Here are my last 4 Russian made knives. One damascus blade that is a handmade(in the bottom of the picture) with a forged blade with micarta/leather handle and aftermarket sheath. It slips my mind who actually made the knife and I should recognize the makers mark but for the life of me can't remember who forged it. It is handmade though and is extremely sharp and capable.
Reading top to bottom in the pics:
1) ROS Arms made, sold by KOZAK out of Texas. Kozak is a distrubutor of Russian knives. This is called The Chieftain I THINK?! Big knife, trailing point, survival/combat/camp. You get 3 knives in one! Never used nor carried and handle ergo's are superb.
2) is a Russian knife, thinner blade stock, but again very well made and the least expensive of the knives listed. I acutally saw a pattern of this knife on the Happy People documentary on a village in Siberia of Russian Trappers and there families. I used this in the kitchen and it works extremely well. Stropped but I don't believe I have ever sharpened it.
3) This is the ROS Arms Stalker. Lite wt. hunter and is unused. Same handle materials at the Chieftain model. This is as new and I think would make a very decent carry knife or hunter. It is not a heavy duty chopper by any means. Superbly sharp and I ain't kiddin.
4) This is a hunting knife made of Belote Damascus steel with the makers mark that for the life I can't remember. I carried and used this knife quite a bit especially at the grill at our camp. I think the makers stamp is an Ibex. Same handle material as 1 & 3. This has an after market sheath with it that I thought at least for me anyways carried much better than the original. I have the original if you would like but I need to keep one of the sheaths to store a beater in.
Would trade for a CQC Super Commander SF/PE. I ship using USPS P.M. thanks and keepem sharp
