Trade offers.....question.

I guess this would be the correct area to post this question.

My question is-- When someone makes a trade offer HOW LONG DO YOU WAIT FOR THEM TO REPLY BEFORE ACCEPTING OTHER OFFERS? Is there a rule in the exchange.

12 - 24 hrs. if someone is interested in something it shouldnt be but a few hrs i would think

Just make sure that you go about it in a diplomatic type way, be tactful and handle it the way you'd want it done if the tables were turned.

If you tend to be a bit more impatient you can always ask the person to reply in "X" amount of time to make sure they know what your expectations are.

You kind of get a knack for it. I am always prepared and know exactly what I want or will offer. If I don't get "The vibe" rather quickly then I move on. There are of course many factors such as feedback, longevity, wishy-washy posts, etc.. I don't think I've ever entered into a deal when the person posts, "I am not sure what I want or if I even want to get rid of the knife, just throwing it out there".
