Basically I responded to a trade offer in a post, sent my knife, never received anything back and the other party stopped communicating with me.
I saw a couple of knives posted for trade by Crockus. He included an email address in the post so I sent an email with an offer. He was interested and asked me to send my knife to him to look at, and he would send it back or send his knife to me.
timeline:
9-2 I read the trade offer on BF and made the first offer via email
9-4 I sent my knife.
9-10 he reported receiving it.
9-17 he reported that he declined the trade and he was sending my knife back (I never received a package)
9-26 he emailed that he was sorry, had been on vacation, package came back because he had the address wrong, he would mail it again right away
I did not receive a package after that and no further communication from him despite many inquiries by me, also note that around 9-3 timeframe he sent me 5 emails.

I am not confrontational and at first I just wanted to ignore it and let it be a lesson learned, but it kept bothering me and I felt like I had to post a warning or I would never get over it. I have all of the emails back and forth between us and I have tried to be as accurate as possible in this post.
