Full disclosure: I removed the ramp myself. The work isn't "cosmetically" flawless. The knife itself is new and but with a cosmetic blemish on the spine only and priced accordingly. It's a deal at this price to try a Bravo-2. I've had the knife a year or so. It's been handled, inserted into the sheath and removed but again unused/never sharpened.
