This is a brand new custom scale made by Kryptoglow. It is made of a fiber reinforced composite which is strong and has a medium textured grip. This scale is black and blue when uncharged and black and bright glacier blue when charged.
I put it on my Hest and tightened it a little bit too tight on one screw and it made a hairline crack that you can see in the last picture. I wouldn't think that it will make a big deal in the performance of the scale, but I am no expert.
I paid $37.50 for this and it has only been on my knife once for about 2 hours and never carried.
**Knife is not included, just blue scale**
