Today, I’d like to submit a gorgeous DDR Dominator with compound ground blade for your shopping pleasure. This blade was manufactured in July of ‘17, purchased in ‘lnib’ condition from another awesome forum member a few months ago who never carried it or cut anything, and has been carried by me literally only a few times since. The blade has not been used to cut anything at all. It was more of a pocket showpiece...and that’s why it must be sold. The ‘gradient’ ano, as they call it, is too damn beautiful for me to put to work. The knife itself is so nice that I ordered another Dominator, in plane jane configuration, hoping I’d feel less guilty about beating that one up. Turns out even that one is too pretty for me.
The compound ground blade looks amazing, showing no visible signs of carry. Looks like it’s fresh out of the box. Centering is good to go, and the action is very smooth, both deploying and closing. The detente is on the lighter side. Blade falls to the closed position with just a single very slight wrist shake. Lockup is solid and early. There are a few small scratches in the ano finish on the handle scales. I did my best to take as many photos as possible from multiple angles to show both the awesome finish (must be seen in person to really appreciate), and the few light scratches. Includes box, zipper pouch, microfiber still in the wrapper, & authenticity/warranty cards.
