I've had this knife for about 6 or 7 months. I've carried it frequently and used it, as Farid makes some of the best "hard users". Certainly never abused. Blade shows some light marking from use. Both sides of scales also show some scuffing from use/pocket time. Can be easily brought back to new with a sandblaster. Opens super smooth with solid lockup. Persian inspired bowie blade is made of D3 (see comparison graph below). Lock stick has diminished greatly over time. No play. Just nano-stropped it..slicing pb paper with ease.
If you've owned the Spyderco version this would be a great addition. I love the look of the single oversized standoff.
If you've been looking for a custom quality framelock that you can feel good about using hard this may be for you.
