Traded for a custom, trying to figure out the maker

I forged out a long knife that a gentleman wanted, and as payment he traded me a custom Wharncliff blade. It looks almost identical to a Fred Perrin design called Jaws 1 and is marked SWI. The craftsmanship is excellent with clean, even grinds and a nice distal taper. Does anybody recognize the blade or makers mark? I love this thing and it has become part of my edc setup.

Nicely made utility knife. Good for you! Kydex tells me it's fairly current.

Nothing under 'I' in the Knives Annuals. I would submit that anyone who displays their mark by individual stamps is a hobbiest maker, and rarely gets beyond the recognization of locals.

I hope I'm wrong.
