Would you be interested in an exchange? Full disclosure - I have carried and used my TC Barlow, so it has been sharpened and the blade has a patina. Mine also has a backspring that sits a touch low in the open position, this is quite common with the TC Barlows. Happy to provide pic's if you are interested.
