Hey everyone! I know everyone is probably watching the worst season of GOT right now, but I have my Larevo Laterus in snakeskin and zirc up for sale or trade today. I'm looking for TRADED. If it doesn't sell after this listing, I'm gonna spa it and keep it probably. So keep that in mind haha. I talked to Jason and he's all tied up with Blade atm so he won't be able to spa it until mid-June. I love this knife, buuuut I want to see what kind of offers I get in the mean time. I'm interested in a CRK Mnandi in anything other than snakewood or a CKF Sukhoi 3, but I'm open to all offers. Mostly looking to trade down into some cash.
This thing is beefy. It's, thick, hefty, and somehow still damn sleek. It has a very unique snakeskin finish that looks absolutely incredible in person and hopefully came out through the photos. The zirconium clip, pivot collars, and floating backspacer are immaculate. They pop so nicely against the ti scales and blue hardware. It's a work of art. The action is Grimsmo-esque but actually doesn't bounce against the stop pin when it falls shut. The detent is pretty hard but not unmanageable. It comes with all the OG packaging.
The flaws: There are some slight scratches in the snakeskin finish that you can catch in certain light (see photos and vid). Jason said he might be able to spa them out, but he put the finish on with a beat up wheel that he doesn't have any more. He said he'd be willing to put a finish of my choice on it if I get it spa'd so keep that in mind. There is a scratch on the flat of the show side of the blade near the tip. The centering looks sliiiiightly off but honestly, the tolerances are so damn tight that I might be crazy. Who knows.
