One of my trusted companions was traded off towards a Bud Nealy custom. Now, I didn't have any dislike for this knife, I just wanted a Millie in plain edge without blade coating (she was a combo with the black coating). I really like my Nealy, I have no idea what model number it is though. I am literally going through withdrawal right now, I'm bidding on one on eBay right now, and have a couple beads on one if that falls through. I've had traders remorse (a variation on sellers and buyers remorse ;)) before, but never this bad.

I am moving out of production modern designs, and moving on to customs and semi productions, as well as traditional designs. The Military is one I will never be without again. Probably my favorite production right now, and the best linerlock I have ever seen.

S90V? D2? I guess I will have more than one Millie. BG42 is an option too...

Have you seen the teasers on Spyderco.com?

Have i ever. I'm not a big fan of the miili, but S90V? CPM D2? I got to have one of them!

To me spydercos ARE my traditional knifes. Being pretty young (27), I have never used other folders besides SAKs. I'm sure 20 yrs down the road, I'll be the dude talking about the good ole' days of native and enduras.

I must agree with Sal there. Get yourself another Military. I can't leave mine alone. I'm forgetting all other brands. Spyderco is it. I know there not custom, but I need functionality above all else and Spyderco is where I find it.

The military is on of my favorite knives. I have owned a wide range of knives from many well-known (and some not so well known) companies and makers -- the military is one of the best. I own the CFBG42 version and beat the crap out of it. A few swipes on the sharpmaker and it's back to business.

The liner lock is perfect. Period.

Next to a sak and my beloved Buck 112 the military has earned a permanent place in my pocket.

I suggest you try the Nealy for a while. If it isn't what you need go back to the millie. I'm keeping mine as edc.
