Hello,
I was fortunate enough to snag a wharncliffe Bladeshow Malibu for a buddy of mine, but he’s since decided that nothing will kick his Guardian Recon 35 out of his pocket (they are indeed awesome).
Really outstanding knife, but I’m not really a flipper guy.
I’d like to try a button lock though, and don’t have others, so I think I’m looking for a Spartan Pallas. I’m also open to large or small Spartan Harseys, +\- money as needed. A custom graphics one would be sweet, particularly Plague Doc or Paisley (which has long been on my wishlist). I’d also consider trading toward a Titanium version Malibu, as I really do want to like the knife and think that added texture might be nice. It’s possible I might also be open to pinchable sheeps/cliffe traditional folders, as I’ve found whittling to be kind of a fun recovery activity, but I’ll likely be pretty picky. High carbon steels strongly preferred on these last.
possibly open to 36-40mm automatic watches as well.
Used- but not abused- knives are welcome to apply.
I just had some major surgery, so it might take a week or two for pics and shipping, but I thought I’d get the ball rolling.
The Malibu is absolutely NIB, Bladeshow 2021 wharncliffe version, only opened maybe twice, never pocketed, carried, or sharpened. It’s been out of its packaging less than a minute. #116 or 119/200, if memory serves correct (I can verify later). I think you know what these look like. The Mother of Pearl buttons are sweet.
