For your consideration is > Pedro Fornari Small Gaucho Integral

Pedro Fornari is part of the growing and highly skilled community of bladesmiths in Brazil. Years ago Jerry Fisk went to Brazil and trained bladesmiths like Eduardo Berrardo who then passed this knowledge onto others. Now the knives coming out of Brazil are truly amazing. And this one is no exception. Integral construction with blade length a bit over 4 1/4" and overall at 8 3/4"; blade finish is a satin finish and almost looks polished. Hilt(?) is fluted and tang tapered. Beautiful Box Elder finishes off the knife. The sheath makes it all a sweet package. This was made for me and I do not remember the overlay on the sheath but it is some kind of exotic. I paid $650 but have too many knives and not enough money so = $sold

Kit Carson Large Model 4 Custom Folding knife.

It’s unused, in very good overall condition with a few very light scratches on the bolster from handling, they are hardly noticeable. They show more in the photos that in real life

This large model 4 by Kit Carson features a fine bead blast finished clip point blade that is just under 4” with notched thumbrest and a dual thumbstuds. The handle has finely bead blasted titanium bolsters, black G10, black backspacer, bead blasted titanium liners, stainless steel pocket clip that is tip up carry. Nice detent and lockup. Very smooth action. Very good condition. Comes with in a zippered pouch, measures 9 1/4" open with a 3 7/8" blade. I believe the handle is black g-10. Kit Carson was one of the top makers of custom tactical knifes. This one is a great example of his work. I am asking much less what I paid - $Traded. Kit’s knives usually go for much more than this.

any questions please ask.. thanks for looking! Arden.ferris@gmail.com

About Kit Carson

Carson, Kit

Kit Carson who passed away in 2014, was instrumental in popularizing the flipper style of folding knife, Kit made a wide range of tactical and utility folders, the best known of which are the M16, M4 and M21. Reproduced by Columbia River Knife & Tool in a wide range of iterations, the M16 has been one of the company’s best-selling and most successful knives for many years. As revered as he was for his knives, Kit was more respected for his willingness to teach any and all how to make them. When knives and knifemaking exploded on the Internet circa the late 1990s and early 2000s, his mentoring benefited perhaps as many new and upcoming potential makers as anyone before or since. A voting member of the Knifemakers’ Guild, Kit spent 20 years in the Army, retiring as a master sergeant in 1993. He grew up in North Georgia, interested in all things mechanical from the start. He began making knives in 1972, the same year he was drafted into the Army.
