Travis Zumwalt made the C-Tek and Steve Ketchen turned it into scales. Also note that it has white G10 liners.

Condition is pretty much mint (I can't find any scratches or flaws). Action is smooth, locks up like a rock, great centering, etc.--just perfect. And you won't find scales like this elsewhere!

Comes with box and papers.

Price: $180 shipped via USPS priority mail. I am open to possible trades, but am generally only interested in sub-3" knives at the moment and can be very picky!

C-tek is a resin-infused aluminum honeycomb. Here is more information: http://www.compositecraftinc.com/C-TEK.html

You can basically turn anything into a handle material by adding a resin of some sort. G10, micarta, carbon fiber, etc. are all a base material + resin, then either compressed and heat-cured or chemically cured (no heat).
