I have carried this knife for a little over a month now and only used it for normal EDC task (nothing hard). The knife is in great shape as you will see in the pictures. I am just in the mood to fund an Emerson binge. The good news for you is that it is a one-of-a-kind Military and IMO it is the best military I've seen! Blade steel is S30V (markings have been removed).
I sent it to So-Lo here on BF to do the following work: round off the blade, stonewash and tumble the blade and hardware, and finally to make a unique G10 scale that does not have the large finger cut out. This means the grip is very secure with no worries about accidentally disengaging the lock bar. The only issue you may have with this set up is it makes disengaging the lock more like a Strider so if you have Strider thumbs there is nothing to get used to but if not then your thumb will be sore for about a week. This G10 texture is rougher than the normal G10 that comes on the Military.
