This BATAC started life with tan handles and an old school tan finish. It was given a satin treatment (by hand), but later I sent it in for a Gunkote camo finish when I was in my "camo phase." I thought the colors combination came out fine and the finish is durable; however, it looks like the blade was touched in a couple places while the paint was still wet.
This knife would be a fantastic hiking companion and it will serve its new owner well for many years to come. I am including with the BATAC a basic, but quite functional, Randall style pouch sheath.
I believe that it is priced appropriately given the imperfections in the Gunkote coating.
