Up trade is an early Davison Slipjoint in California buckeye burl scales. I have had this for a while, and carried it some. However, I always carried it in a velvet pouch. About 3 months ago I had it sharpened by our own Knife Nut to a 10000 grit mirror polish. I have not sliced with it since it was sharpened.
