Jake Hoback OSF. Titanium handles, roller bearings, Hoback rolling detent (HRD), CPMS35VN blade, Fallout Black DLC coating, #196.
I bought this about a month ago, and it has been carried and lightly used. I carry all my knives, so it does have some marks, scratches, scrapes. If you're looking for a mint condition safe queen, this knife isn't for you. Knife comes with all original packaging, paper, box, and little tool kit. The tool kit was opened and used on the knife. All tools are there.
I'll try to be as accurate as possible to describe the scratches and marks on the knife, but it is possible I missed something - if so, it's not intentional. The pocket clip has several scratches near the Hoback logo, and the tip of the pocket clip is pretty rough. It got scratched on some rocks. I believe new pocket clips can be ordered. Both sides of the handle have small scratches here and there, the most noticeable at the top of the handle (pivot side) on the non-clip side. Hopefully you can see in the pictures. They are very minor. The blade has very minor wear around the edges, and the cutting edge needs to be touched up. I'm not confident in my sharpening abilities, so I left it alone.
I custom cut and fitted genuine abalone (mother of pearl) I found on my last trip to CA to the inside of the handles where Jake mills his cut outs to make the handles lighter. It turned out pretty decent, though the abalone is hard to see when the knife is all together. It was a fun project.
I'm not sure what to ask for it anymore, so $350 - OBO, everything included. Payment via PayPal, shipping included to USA only - and I ship via USPS priority.
