I cheat on my Beckers with spanish blades. Ka-Bar taking the top spot nevertheless, I have a serious spanish blade addiction. So, I like to fit them properly and have made sheaths for a bunch of them. With this one, I feel it would be quite at home wearing BK22 nylon pants (not the hard plastic, of course). A lot of people knock on Becker sheaths, while I think they are a quite excellent offering, that can be made even better with some simple tweaks. I could buy one online, but I realize I have accumulated a bunch of stuff that I can barter with. Keeping in mind that all of us are aware of prices, tell me what would you like for a BK22 sheath; I've got a bunch of stuff, like factory leather sheaths for big knives, tweener scales, folders, etc, or make stuff like a para bracelet or a kydex for a 24…let's work it out. Here's the beast next to his brother from another mother, an Aitor ATK Five:

I'd be interested in micarta tweener scales, or other than stock. I several spare sheaths.

bobby, I can't see your pic, guess I'll have to wait to get home. Tweener scales? Got stock brown & black, maybe 2 pairs of each, haven't counted.

NCSlice, I also have a pair of glow-in-the-dark blue tweener scales but they are on kitchen duty with the 15, don't want to let that one go yet, and a pair of brown scales stippled in a kinda flame/tribal design.

heck, I bet EVRYBODY in here has a lot of stock tweener scales, guess I'll scratch that from the list :D how about a kydex for a 24/14 or a tweener?

I realize I'm being stubborn about this. Sure, I could make a kydex or leather sheath for it, but I know that the 22 is THE sheath for it. Here's crossing my fingers it IS :D

yep, forget about stock tweener scales, I'll figure something else to do with them. Plenty of other stuff, just ask. I guess I'll pick out whatever I wanna trade when I get home and post a pic. I don't have a 14/24/tweener kydex sheath on hand, but it would take me around 1-2 hours to make one, either taco or pancake.

Could you make a taco style sheath for a 2?

a taco for a 2 would be kinda pushing it... 14/24/15/16/17?

Swoop! Like a ninja, silent in the dead of night, the Northern Hampshirian sneaks in the window and, without a sound, expertly removes the wind of the overly curious Carolinians..

To quote Barenaked Ladies:

The ninjas are deadly and silent
They're also unspeakably violent
They speak Japanese, they do whatever they please
And if you tear off their masks they'll be smiling

If some Hampshirian comes sneaking around my windows they'll be lucky to escape with 3 of 5 appendages!

That's here in Dirty Durham...now, Raleigh or Cary (Centralized Area for Relocated Yankees), you'd prob just run into some guy weilding a frying pan while his wife dials 911 lol

And I'm actually a Southeastern Hampshirian......we keep the Massholes and the Maineiacs separated by a few miles of neutral coastline. Nothing we could do for Vermont.....they directly border MA. - may the good lord help them.

NCS: While we Granite State ninjas may be renowned for our skill (or maybe we're not....I have no idea).....we can't take the heat of your steamy clime. OTOH, it's pretty damn funny watching y'all's state come to a screeching halt on the rare occasion you do get a taste of our weather.

Last winter, our county got about 2 feet of snow. No biggie, we've had more that 4 feet before, and that's just from what I can remember.

Our sheriff decided that 2 feet of snow was a major emergency and called in the National Guard. They came for two days and I'm pretty sure they didn't do anything other than drive around town in their Humvees, and they probably got some kind of stomach problem or another at the local restaurants on their free time.

Said sheriff just got voted out of office.

Totally ...our Mountain folk handle it fine but around here I can't disagree with shutting it down. We have instant idiots...just add water, in any form. An inch of snow causes vmassive pileups and wrecks everywhere. That's why they shut it down...
They can barely drive on a beautiful day!

That's true, I can understand it in the city or a big town. But this whole county only has three thousand and some people in it and 90% of them go above and beyond the definition of mountain people. :D

In NH when you're plowing through 2 ft. of snow in your little Toyota (or Honda) that's usually when you speak (or hear) the words: "hold my beer and watch this....". Not surprisingly, the Live Free or Die state was the last place in the union where you could drive barefoot, unbelted and with an open container. Sadly, not true any more. You have to wear a seatbelt now ;).
