trades for a BK22 sheath?

Haha! Oh you chaps. You make me laugh. I'm pretty sure if Australia had this 'snow' thing we would probably all die. Either in car accidents or from freezing to death. Apparently, down south in the Highlands, water does get to a solidified state. But it's just slush. We don't ski here. We slush surf. In shorts. Also whilst holding a beer..

There's snow in Oz....
In Australia, snow falls frequently on the highlands near the east coast, in the states of Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania and in the Australian Capital Territory. There is a regular snow season in several areas which have seasonal ski tourism industries. Snow also falls with some regularity on the Great Dividing Range as far north as Stanthorpe, Queensland and in isolated parts of South Australia and Western Australia, but outside of these areas, snow is an extremely rare occurrence. Snow has also fallen on Uluru and near Alice Springs on at least one occasion.
Even this Yankee knows that. Of course, my older sister was a HUGE fan of The Man From Snowy River - filmed in Australia - so I knew a long time ago.

In NH when you're plowing through 2 ft. of snow in your little Toyota (or Honda) that's usually when you speak (or hear) the words: "hold my beer and watch this....". Not surprisingly, the Live Free or Die state was the last place in the union where you could drive barefoot, unbelted and with an open container. Sadly, not true any more. You have to wear a seatbelt now ;).

I hate that seatbelt law.
