  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Traditional and Modern pairings

Two knives with graceful yet highly functional lines, neither of which would have appealed to me five years ago, and both of which are among my current favorites: a John Lloyd custom shadow Dogleg Jack and an Emerson Mini Commander.

r8shell r8shell is there much difference in the feel of the CF (texture) between the Sage and the Roundhead?
Very much so.
The Spyderco (it's a Chaparral) has a bumpy, woven texture, and the Roundhead is smooth, more like the Boker Plus at the top of the pic. Also, the Spyderco is really just a layer of carbon fiber laminated over G-10 so they leave it flat, rather than having curved edges.

Thanks r8shell. I don't particularly like the feel of Spyderco's CF, too course. Good to hear Lion Steel's is smoother though now I can't rule out picking one up. Could be trouble!!! ;)
