I always wondered who was buying those funny looking Crickets? Now I know :D
Must be a bear to sharpen that blade shape.

If you were using a flat stone yes, it is difficult to sharpen. The way to go when sharpening the Cricket or a knife with a reverse recurve blade or any recurve blade for that matter, is to use a rod such as the ones Lansky makes or a Sharpmaker.

Same goes for the Cricket with serrated edge.

Both of those are great knives.

Thanks. I’d be lost without ‘em, that’s for sure. I would say with 100% certainty that my mini Ritter’s been my most carried knife. I’m trying to see how carrying them together works out for a while. They do seem complement each other well so far.

That's pretty wild looking Gary. I've not seen a liner lock cutout done like that before. A definite blend of modern and traditional (rustic).
Yeah it's a bit different. Nice knife though. Kansei Matsuno calls it a "City Knife".

I haven't carried a modern knife in a long time, but the Benchmade Mini Grips were always at the top of my list. And the Fayette is just a wonderful carry option.
