Traditional and Modern pairings

I enjoy looking at this pairing
of Chad Nichols and Devin Thomas Damascus. Two of the masters. I bought the Damascus Sebenza 21 for two reasons. First, it is the end of an era. The 21 will be the last Sebenza that is completely the design of Chris Reeve. Second, it is the last Sebenza that will have Devin Thomas Damascus. CRK switched to Chad Nichols.

The traditional knife is a GEC 86 SFO that has a Chad Nichols blade. That single blade 86 is an excellent size. The two blade versions were just too heavy for me.

Fine carry choices! Working on your heat?

Interesting to see! I only know the kapara version of his collabo with spyderco. Did he use cf for this handle too? Some kind of carbon steel blade? Looks like a nice patina.
He specializes in liner & frame locks these days but started out on slip joints.
It's 01 & Micarta, so very light to carry, patina is natural from use. I like the contrast to the edge.
