I really want to love Spyderco PM2s and PM3s but I always sell them and come back to the native. The Native 5 has finally been getting some super steel love the past few years and this one in cruwear and smooth g10 gets carried most often....doesn't tear up the pockets of my slacks.

Along for the ride are my 1999 Case/Bose slim trapper and Vic accountant in pearl.


 
I carried this combo today. The stag Viper is one of CKs SFOs, and it’s literally perfect in every way. The quality is absolutely outstanding. The Micarta knife is also a slipjoint with an interesting 3/4 stop instead of a half stop. The steel is vg-10 and it is quite literally the sharpest knife from the box I’ve ever owned. The blade shape, to me, is reminiscent of a Puuko. Very, very thin grind and one helluva slicer. Both of these are!
