1970's Case knives are my thing, but I keep giving them away to share the joy... Might be time to go shopping again. There’s a whole lot of delightful old Case, Schrade, Camillus, Catt., Böker, etc. stuff that makes me pretty happy.
I feel the same way. But I tell myself I'm accumulating pre-traditionals. Given time, they'll seem old as heck.I still consider these to be more Modern than Traditional.
But with the GEC Fiasco, and everything but Case Knives being snatched up so quickly, and only inflated secondary prices available to the rest of us...
I've resorted to buying more of these Modernized Traditionals. They don't give me the "warm fuzzies" like true Traditionals, but they are keeping the Buying Bug satisfied.
I have two of the 4 inch SHFs. I am a fan, though I admit I prefer the Lone Wolf T-series to the Spartan Harsey Folder series. But I also acknowledge that the SHF is better made, better materials, stronger, etc. I just really like the tip down design of my old T2.Any body have any experience with the Spartan Hersey Folder? The 3.25 version has really caught my eye. Let me know!
I like pairing them together, then use whichever is more appropriate for the task.
