Two new acquisitions arrived yesterday. I think my grandfathers would have been bemused by the tool-free field-stripping technology, so I'll post them here.
I bought the Chinese Barlow because it was 4th of July weekend, and I bought the CRKT because it was 20-something less than the llamaland price.
That tool-free field-stripping technology might be a solution without a problem.
"How many times has THIS happened to YOU?"
Your knife is all gritty from processing sand hill cranes and there's no water to swish it in, so you take it apart and clean it with what?

Thanks John. I discovered the German knife a few months ago in the glove compartment of my truck. I put it in there almost 20 years ago and forgot all about it. It had some pitting so I cleaned it up and added some patina to the blades. It’s still sharp. And I still drive the truck.Super nice Traditional and modern pairing.
