Fixed blade has a pocket clip and thumb stud on the other side....

That pocket clip adds a fair amount of bulk, but I think I need a special driver to get it off.
This Civivi Bo is more compact than my still-new rat II, and I like the flip-tab a lot more than the thumb stud.

I like it a lot. It's a 3" blade in a slim handle, and I think it's fine as an old-fashioned pocket knife.

I got my first flipper today. I have to say I’m still not sold on the whole modern flipper concept, but this Bear & Son came up when I was looking for something else, and besides the “modern” thing, it seemed to be in line with my two main criteria: cheap ($25), and not made you-know-where.

It doesn’t have that certain “je ne sais quoi” that I find pleasing in my other cheap and cheerful treasures, but I will say it’s solidly built with no visible imperfections, and it came nice and sharp. Maybe it will grow on me…
