Traditional and Modern pairings

You must be very fond of that Pro-tech. Very consistent carry. Looks very comfortable in the hand.
I am, Tim. The Malibu has pretty much replaced the William Henry I carried regularly for close to 10 years. It does what I need it to do, and does it well. The Scarperia Zuava I picked up in Italy pairs well with it. Sometimes it is just black or white. 😉

Both of those [chef's kiss] are outstanding. I'm already on the Kaparra wait list to be notified if it goes back in stock...
Thank you! I highly recommend the Kapara, it’s excellent in the kitchen and as an edc.

This USA-made Bear & Son 778 is starting to grow on me. As others mentioned in a different thread, their traditional patterns seem a little off, but I kinda like this modern one. I understand that the company history published on the manufacturer’s website is designed to evoke just such a reaction, but the idea that it is produced in a place where any type of industry and employment is much needed does indeed appeal to me. That’s part of why I like Okapi, too.

This thumb-hole version of the Ka-Bar Dozier ain’t bad either, now that I’ve figured out how to hold it so that it opens smoothly:
